A Little Bit About Me...

Hi friends!  I guess this is where I share a little bit about myself... I know these sorts of things are usually written in third person, but I couldn't help but feel a little silly writing about myself so objectively.  So with that in mind, here are the basic fun facts about me and my life.
This is me doing a casual thinker pose in Joshua Tree
I am a born and raised California girl, even though I can't tan to save my life, (seriously, I am pale enough to use as a glow in the dark beacon).  Growing up, I fell in love with all kinds of crazy hobbies.  It wasn't just crafting though, I loved to camp, climb, and generally get outrageously dirty.  Whether it was playing around in the mud, fastidiously researching Disneyland history, discovering Harry Potter, or tying a new friendship bracelet, I became completely engrossed by whatever I was doing; halfway hobbies are not my specialty.
My first foray in to crafting on a more professional (gosh that feels weird to say) basis was a cake decorating adventure in my younger years.  After making gingerbread house villages, decorated cakes, and frosted cupcakes for numerous block parties, several of my neighbors began to inquire about hiring to bake for parties.  Many birthday, bridal shower, baby shower and giant mustache cakes later (okay, it was just one giant mustache, but it really was six feet long), I had built a small business for my teenage self.
Whether it's cake decorating, friendship bracelets, knitting hats, or paper crafts, it seems I'm always creating.  During occasional voyages outside my craft room, I love to sing, dance, enjoy the company of my beautiful friends, volunteer at my church, and just adventure through life.  I anxious to see where this new craft venture takes me and I couldn't be more grateful to every single person who has been or will be a part of this journey. Thanks so much for stopping by!
