From an early age I was captivated by making things . Undoubtedly, I am addicted to the feeling of accomplishment that comes when looking upon something you've made (after finishing a craft I shamelessly pick it up and put it back down, as if to reaffirm its existence). As my creativity blossomed beyond coloring books and play-doh, my desire to create also became more complex.
My aunt and uncle kicked of this crucial transition through the best Christmas present I've ever received; a scrapbooking kit. Though those early pages are somewhat cringe-worthy now (thankfully my mom got to me before I cut up too many original photos), they opened up a whole new world of passion to me.
Over the past decade, I have gone through many different crafting phases ranging from cake decorating to friendship bracelets to paper crafting and beyond. Currently, my main focus is paper crafts, though I can't resist the occasional lure of fresh yarn or fondant. As my works have evolved, the motivation behind them has morphed as well. I have become enthralled by the idea that my tokens can be little manifestations of love in the world. A handmade gift is a long-lasting profession of engagement, a talisman that says "You are seen, you are loved, you are worthy to spend time on". That sentiment can brighten anyone's day, and it is my main inspiration to produce.

PS: Let me offer an early apologies for my overuse of the word 'crafty' (as well as my frequent utilization of 'magical'). Crafting creates an unbridled enthusiasm within me which inevitably bubbles over in to my increasingly effusive language.
